Impact is a group for years 7 to 9 (age 11-14).
Due to Covid-19 we are meeting virtually on Sundays at 10.45am on Zoom.
In normal times, on Sundays we meet at both our churches. After spending time in worship in the service, we get together as a small group for a time of fun discussion. Impact is a safe place to come and explore the Christian faith, ask questions and develop relationships with God and others.
On Wednesdays, the young people get off their school buses in the Lower Village and we meet in the St Peter’s Centre from 4 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. We eat cake (and toast), play games and spend some time discussing relevant topics.
We also have a social events such as games nights and movie nights and last year we spent a Saturday getting very muddy on the Crockey Trail at Manley Mere!
Anyone is welcome to come along and join in. Some of our young people come once a week and some of them come to two sessions a week; there’s no pressure to do both. It doesn’t matter if you worship at a different church, or have never been to church; you don’t have to be a Christian or come from a Christian background.
Impact is a safe place to have fun, learn more and develop faith!
