- The Shrove Tuesday Pancake lunch in aid of the Childrens Society raised over £1000 this year - well done to all involved.

- The current Alpha course finished on 2nd December. You can listen to the talks for each week of the course here. We are following this term’s Alpha Course with a Christianity Explored Course. The course started on 28th January and runs weekly until 1st April, 7.30pm at the home of John and Myra Sloan. Further details from Wullie Docherty or John Sloan (342 4841 or 348 4280).
- We want to encourage and support family life so we have come up with a series of family friendly events in the spring and summer of 2010 that we are calling "messy church". Each get together, for an hour or so, will look like this:

The next meeting is on Thursday 18 March at CoGS, other dates are 21 May, 23 Jun, 20 July.
- Do you think Heswalls Got Talent?? Join us for a fun fundraiser in support of the Rock of Joy Trust on Saturday 27th March, 7.30pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Telegraph Road. Tickets are just £5 from Christine (342 7387) of from Phil (342 4472) - and give them a call if you've got a dancing dog!
- D:Side, our group for 11-14s which meets both on Sunday mornings at 10.45am (Richmond Hall) and Wednesday nights 7 - 8.30pm has now restarted for 2010, see This Week for details. Term programmes are now available to download here.
- CoGS Mens Group - Cog-ni-tion - meets monthly at the Jug and Bottle restaurant on the first sunday of each month. The focus is on how men can express real faith in real life. Next meeting 4 April 2010 at 8.00pm- contact John Sloan on 348 4280 for details or download a flier here.
- Weekday Welcome drop in at St Peters Centre continues to be open each weekday Monday - Friday from 10.00 -12 noon. We look forward to seeing regulars and newcomers for coffee and a chat throughout the year. A Traidcraft stall is also available.
