Alpha is a series of interactive sessions to discuss the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment.
Alpha consists of 8 topics including: ‘Who is Jesus,’ ‘Why and how do I pray’? and ‘What about church?’
At Alpha we meet to share a meal, watch a talk on DVD, then discuss it together in small groups.
Our next course starts on Thursday, 21st September, at 7.30 pm in St. Peter’s
Centre. If this is of interest to you, please come along; if you have friends asking questions about life or spiritual things, please invite them. RSVP (including any special dietary requirement) 342-3471 or firstname.lastname@example.org

What previous Alpha guests said:
“We were so suspicious that we sat in the car watching people going in to Alpha. To our astonishment they looked normal.”
“It was great to ask questions that I’d probably carried with me for years without having to worry about sounding stupid or shocking, or about seeming not very knowledgeable or extremely naughty or any of these things.”
“Everyone was very relaxed and it was very free from pressure. It completely opened my eyes”
The emphasis is on exploration and discovery in a relaxed and informal environment. We really look forward to seeing you.
You can hear the story of Sophia, an earlier Heswall Alpha course member, and what God has done in her life here.
We have posted a talk from the Autumn 2009 course to give you a flavour:
